The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Thoroughly enjoyable film from start to finish. It probably helps that I haven't read the book for 15 years or so (will rectify that on holiday), but it was familiar enough and I was hooked from start to finish. It rattled through at a pretty good pace and was definitely Adamsesque, which meant very British and something I'm sure he would have been happy with. Some welcome cameos too - and not all of them human (keep an eye out at the queue on the Zogrons' home world in the middle of the film.

I'm already looking forward to The Restaurant at the End of the Universe...
